
DESCRIPTION
Where would we be without the Jalapeño on our nachos and chopped into traditional Mexican dishes? This is the best variety for cooler climates with the signature fruity flavor of jalapeno. Cylindrical fruits are of the smaller, traditional size (2” - 3"). This is a heavy-bearing little plant that will keep you eating for months! Best for early season plantings for an early crop.
Growing Tips:
- Start indoors in 80 degree temp about 1/4” deep 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant well after danger of frost and ideally when night temps don’t go lower than 50F.
- Sow plants 24-36” apart. Plant in full sun. Do not need to stake plants.
- Fertilize with fish emulsion or a soluble, complete fertilizer.
