DESCRIPTION
An uncommon variety, the Ukrainian winter squash is considered to be a sweet meat squash that can be eaten raw or shredded raw to be made into slaw salads. Easily grown to a size of 10 to 20 pounds at maturity. Flat-ribbed outer skin that turns pink-orange or bluish-green when ripe, this squash has a savory bright orange meat high in Vitamin A that is smooth and densely textured.
